SUS is the Japanese material standard. 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced according to the American ASTM standard. Japan also quotes the name of the United States, called: SUS304. SUS304 stainless steel is called in Japan, and 304 stainless steel is called in the United States. SUS304 is an austenitic stainless steel with good plasticity and good cold working performance.
