Floating Rust of Stainless Steel Sink

Many people have just installed the stainless steel sink in the kitchen, and they have not started to use it. After a period of time, they found that there are small spots of rust on the sink surface.  They will feel doubtful whether the sink is made of 304 stainless steel ! In fact, these rust spots are not really rust, but floating rust, which floats on the surface of the stainless kitchen sink. What is the cause of rust?

1. Alkaline water, lime water, oil stains and other residues on the wall decoration are left on the surface of the sink. If it is not cleaned in time, it will cause local corrosion and rust points.

2. There may be some iron filings during the decoration process. After they encounter water and air, they will produce floating rust.

3. There are iron filings and rust water in the water pipe of the new house decoration. When these impurities stay on the surface of the sink without being rinsed in time, rust spots and rust spots will appear, which can be wiped with toothpaste. It is not the rust of the sink itself.
