1. Thorough cleaning-up
On some occasion, a stainless steel sink looks dull because there are some gunk and debris built up on the sink’s surface. These stuff cannot be removed by conventional cleanings. It needs a deep cleaning to remove all these dirty stuff.
Baking soda and distilled vinegar are very useful for removing hard dirty and grime. Apply some on the sink and scrub slightly. Always remember to scrub going with the grain of the stainless steel sink.
2. Repainting/refinishing the surface
If a deep and thorough cleaning-up does not make the sink shiny again, then the sink’s surface may be damaged. Now, we may consider to repaint the sink. The material of stainless steel does not affect paint adhesion.
